Arrive Cochin where you will be met and taken to a Palace Hotel "Bolgatty Palace", a Four Star Heritage Hotel. In the Afternoon, enjoy a Guided City tour - the three hours motorboat cruise on the backwaters will take you to the Cultural & Historical important places in and around Cochin Harbour. Back to the Palace Hotel. Watch the Sunset from the Palace Hotel. And at 6 30 evening there will be a Live show of "Kathakali", the traditional Kerala Dance Drama. Dinner & Overnight Stay.

After breakfast, check out from the Palace Hotel and drive to Guruvayur via Thrissur, enroute visit the Athirappally & Vazhachal Waterfalls. (Total travel time 4. 5 hrs). Upon arrival at Guruvayur - the Temple Town of Kerala, check in to the Regal AC Room of a three star Hotel, "Hotel Sopanam Heritage". An Evening visit to the Elephant Sanctuary, where you can see more than 50 Domestic Elephants belongs to the Temple, donated by the devotees. Dharshan Sree Krishna Temple (for Hindus only) at night. Back to Hotel.

Early morning again temple dharshan - optional. After breakfast, checkout and drive to Palakkad. Check into the Cottage of Kairali Ayurvedic Health Resort. (2. 5 hrs drive). Afternoon a visit to the Palakkad Fort then to Malampuzha Garden, enjoy a Ropeway Ride above the gardens. Back to Resort.

A visit to the nearby temple, to watch the mural paintings and architectural work. After breakfast set off for a full day picnic to the Nelliyampathy Hills. Overlooking the Parambikulam Tiger Reserve in the Western Ghats, Nelliyampathy at an altitude of 4000 ft above sea level is a virgin hill station ideal for an extended holiday. Waking up a chilly night to the soft wispers of nature and the chirping of birds, tacking a walk along pebble pathways inhaling the scents of fresh air are the right portents to rejuvenate the body and senses. The magic of the journey to Nelliyampathy hills begins at Pothundy Dam. From here, after a 20 km drive through forests tracks, negotiating breathtaking hair-pin turns, you arrive at Nelliyampathy, wrapped in mist and fog. From here one can have a fantastic view of the valley below, with a wide angled panoramic picture of about one third of Palakkad and see the Palakkad Gap. Back to Resort.

Early Morning Optional - Ayurvedic Body Massage. After breakfast, checkout from Kairali Resort and drive to Calicut (Kozhikode). 3. 5 hrs drive. Check into Superior AC Room of the splendid Kadavu Resort. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip along the palm-fringed Chaliyar River, savouring the magnificent Kerala scenery. This evening we will show you the 'Kalaripayattu' live show in a Kalari, training centre of Kerala Martial Art. Back to the Resort.

After breakfast, checkout from kadavu and proceed for Wayanad. Barely 3 hrs drive from the resort, passing through the market towns of the foothills of the Western Ghats and winding up the steep mountains, and there is the adventure Land, Wayanad. Tea and Coffee plantations, spread out like a velvet green shawl, beckon you, with paddy fields filling the vales of the majestic mountains.
Check into the Cottage of Vythiri Resort. This afternoon we will take you to the Waterfalls inside the forest area. Meenmutty Waterfalls, a 3 tiered, thundering masterpiece of Nature. Back to Resort.

After breakfast, ready for a full day picnic of this beautiful unexplored land of Western Ghats. Pookote Lake, nesled among wooded hills, this fresh water lake, is the only one of its kind in Kerala. Boating Facilities available here. Kuruva Island, another attraction here, set in the Kabini River and inhabited only by rare species of birds, small wildlife and a range of orchids and herbs, shaded by the tropical forests. To reach the Island you can trek across the river or take a small wooden canoe. Tirunelly Temple is a marvel of Temple Architecture. The Crystal clear waters of the papanasini River running downhill add to the enchantment of the place. Back to the Resort.

Check out after breakfast from the Resort and drive to the lowlands once again to reach Kannur, the land of Folk Art & Folk Music of the State. Driving time 4 hrs. Check into the Deluxe Room of The Pearlview Regancy. This afternoon we will take you to the Tellicherry Fort, now a historical monument. Then to Muzhapilangad Beach, Kerala's only drive in beach where you can drive down the entire length of 4 km. Black rocks protecting this long, clean beach from the currents of the deep, making its shallow waters a swimmer's paradise. Back to the Hotel.

Day Nine |

Set off for a full day picnic to Bakel Fort & Beach. The 300 year old Fort is one of the largest and best preserved forts in Kerala. This imposing circular structure of laterite rises 130 ft above sea level and stands on a 35 acre headland that runs into the Arabian Sea. On the way back to Hotel at Kannur, a visit to the Pappinissery Snake Park, the only one of its kind in the State and perhaps whole of India. Also a visit to the Parassinikkadavu Temple, stands on the banks of a river, this pilgrim centre is famous for the Theyyam, the divine dance. Theyyam is one of the most outstanding folk arts of Kerala and has its origin in the Northern parts of the State. This primitive ritualistic art reflects features of a tribal culture. Back to the Hotel.

After breakfast checkout and drive to Calicut (Kozhikode) Airport / Railway Station for Departure back to Hometown.
